How air freight pricing works
Air freight is charged on billable weight, measured in pounds. Billable weight is whichever is greater:
- Actual weight — what the package weighs on our warehouse scale.
- Volumetric weight — length × width × height in inches, divided by a carrier divisor. This stops a large box of pillows costing the same as a small box of screws.
Our shipping calculator applies both rules automatically and shows you which one was used, so there is nothing to work out yourself.

What we cannot fly
Airlines prohibit certain goods outright. We cannot accept flammable liquids, aerosols, lithium batteries shipped loose, perishable food, weapons or anything restricted under Surinamese customs law. If you are unsure, ask us before you buy.
